Either You Do Or You Don’t

Proverbs 3: 5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Jeremiah 17: 7-8
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Psalms 118: 8-9
8 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people.
9 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.
Phillipians 4:19
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Either you do or you don’t!
We say all the time that we trust God, but my question is do you really trust him?
Or do we just trust him when we can see our way through a situation or in a situation or out of situation?
The Lord is saying to us tonight that either we do or we don’t! We cannot waiver the fact of whether we trust him or not! Because the word says that a double minded man is unstable in all of his ways!
Either you do or you don’t!
There is so much scripture that points or leads us to know that it is important for us to trust God with everything in us! And the first scripture that comes to mine is Proverbs 3: 5 and 6 which says: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
God wants us to trust Him completely, with everything in us, and to not trust ourselves for understanding, but to seek Him and not just use Him when it’s convenient, but truly acknowledge Him as Lord of Lord, and King of Kings, and the Father of all! in the Bible says that he shall not he might not he will not he may, but that he shall direct your path.

Do you truly trust him or do you trust your friend?
Either you do or you don’t!
We see in the book of Jeremiah chapter 17 and verse eight. The Bible says that, but blessed of those who trust and the Lord and other words if you trust and Lord, you are blessed!
Either you do or you don’t!
Let’s look at that word, but: the word, but let us know that there was something that came before that that was opposite to what is now. In other words, it was talking about those who don’t trust in the Lord prior to those who do trust in the Lord.
Which lets me know that it is a good thing for us to trust in the Lord. How do I know that I am glad you asked me! Because I see it here in verse seven that says, blessed is a man that trusts in the Lord, and it goes on to say and whose hope the Lord is.
That means that if I believe while I’m trusting, and not waver in my faith, three words, I believe, I trust, and I have faith that whatever it is that I need God to do for me or however, God chooses to work it out for me. I am blessed as a result of me believing, me trusting, and me having faith!
Either you do or you don’t!
Scripture goes on to say, for I should be like a tree planted by the waters. In other words the person that’s blessed because of them trusting in the Lord shall be rooted so deep that when the roots are near the water, it’s gonna receive strength and nourishment so much so that, when you get into situations that can normally cause you to lose your mind or to lose your hope in your hope will continue to trust God you continue to be at peace. You will continue to have faith, knowing that God has your back and that he’s working things out for your good. Amen.
The Bible says the devil may have made it for your bed, but God is turning the situations around and working them out for your good

We see in verse seven that such trees, meaning those trees that are planted along the river. Those trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.
That means that you keep right on growing and growing and growing and growing and growing and growing and growing in spite of what you might be dealing with, no matter what you might be facing.
Either you do or you don’t!
Look at one additional scripture in the book of Philippians chapter 4 verse 19 the Bible says, but my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus!
What does it say?
The scripture is telling us that this same God that took care, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the same God that took care of your great grandmother and great grandfather, your grands, and your parents and you are the same to Him. The same God who takes care of me will supply all of your needs according to His glorious riches.
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.
