It’s ALL Coming Together
Pastor Carolyn J. Blue
Romans 8: 26-28
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose
It’s all coming together!
Everything in your life that seems like there are missing pieces, I stopped by today to tell you that it’s all coming together!
I know you’ve been experiencing some ebbs and flows in your life, and you will probably always have some ups and downs. However, the ups, will outweigh the downs, hands-down
Let’s look over the past few months, and reflect upon how things have been going in your life. I see that you’ve made some progress, and that you are moving the needle in the positive direction at making a better life for yourself.
But somewhere along your journey, it seems like there’s still something that’s missing. There’s a missing piece to the puzzle called life.
Let’s think about a puzzle for a minute, and how when you’re putting that puzzle together before you ever start to put the pieces together, you find yourself separating each piece, then you begin to group them by shapes and colors and corners in different things that seem to be in common.
Next, once you have all your groups separated, you begin to look at the finished product on the box cover in order for you to see what the end results will look like!
You then begin to put each piece together, and some of us start with the corners first because they seem easier to connect, and that’s just like our Christian walk. When we first make a decision that for God I will live and for God I’ll die, this walk seems to be pretty good, it’s pretty simple, quite simplistic, right?
It’s all coming together!
You have your corners connected with the outside pieces and it seems like it’s smooth sailing. But once you complete that first step, maybe even a second step, you start to hit a little roadbump.
Your excitement is still there and you know that you’ve made the right decision, but because life seems to just keep lifing, you start having thoughts in the back of your head and you begin to question your decision.
Tell yourself, it’s all coming together!
Yes, I know that the bills keep coming in, and yes I know your credit score keeps dropping. Yes I know you haven’t met your lifetime mate yet, and yes I know the doctor reports are coming in, and yes I know your court date keeps getting pushed back, and yes I know, you were looked over for that job promotion, and yes I know all hell seems to be breaking loose in your home! Yes, I know that the pieces of your puzzle seem like some of them are missing, because when you look at that finished picture that was on the outside of that puzzle box, it looked so amazing and it looked like it wouldn’t be too difficult in order to put it together!
But right now it doesn’t feel like it’s simple or that is easy right now, it doesn’t look like its simple or is easy right now, it doesn’t sound like it’s simple or easy right now, but hang in there because it’s all coming together!
But I need you to tell yourself again it’s all coming together!
Let’s look back at the puzzle and we see the different groups and how we have a separated by colors and some of the sections have the same colors but they don’t fit. That’s just like our walk with Christ we we’ve tried to follow the instructions and to do, what we are learning to do but things just seem like they’re not working out the way we thought!
It’s all coming together!
In this scripture we see that Paul is talking to the believers in Rome who are experiencing tough times. He’s saying that when life gets hard and things are going crazy in your lives, know that we have help! That’s good news tonight, just knowing that it’s all coming together!
Yes it may be trying times sometimes, because he never said it would be ice cream and cake everyday, but he is saying that the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness.
When we don’t have the answers nor know how to even ask for the answers, because those times will come, but hold on, because it’s all coming together!
Paul says that there will be times when we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But there’s good news!
The Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. He will pray for us! And watch this! The Father who knows all hearts (your heart, my heart, your child’s heart, your spouse’s heart, your boss’s heart, the judge’s heart) knows what the Spirit is saying, and the Spirit pleads for us who are believers in harmony with God’s own will. The Holy Spirit knows God’s agenda for our lives; therefore He knows what and how to pray for us!
Which leads us to the greatest news!
It’s all coming together!
Paul says that, and we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God. This means that if you love God, it’s all coming together! That means that something good is coming out of what you are experiencing!
It’s all coming together!
Paul goes on to say that those of us who love God were chosen by Him for His purpose! So you know if He chose us for His purpose, it’s all coming together!
I don’t care how difficult it is right now, or how bleak it may look, it’s all coming together! Every piece of your life’s puzzle will fit jointly, the way God purposed for it to fit, and it’s all coming together!
Know this night, that weeping may endure for a night, but joy is coming in the morning! God’s unspeakable joy! His amazing joy, is coming! Hold on babygirl don’t give up and don’t give in, it’s all coming together!
Keep pressing toward the mark of the higher calling in Christ Jesus because it’s all coming together!
David said in the book of Psalms 37:25, that he’s never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging for bread! Oh it’s all coming together!
Just like the finished product on the puzzle box, look in the mirror and see the finished product that God has made in you! You are more than a conqueror through Christ that loved you!
We should be like Paul and say that no matter what I face, for I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
